Ramrada Ninnad, Chief Development Management Officer, Mae Fah Luang Foundation
Ramrada Ninnad (Earth) is the Chief Development Management Officer of the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage (MFLF). The MFLF is involved in sustainable alternative livelihood development, creating viable income opportunities and overall well-being to communities, at the same time maintaining environmental balance, through social entrepreneurship. Earth looks after two key departments of the Foundation– the Centre for Social Entrepreneurship (CSE) and the Knowledge and Learning Centre (KLC). Her role entails strategic planning and overall operations of the Foundation’s sustainable development projects in Thailand and overseas, which have included programmes in Afghanistan, Indonesia, and Myanmar. She is also responsible for international partnerships and promoting the Foundation’s sustainable development work at international policy forums, as well as training programmes and knowledge management initiatives. Previously, she worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. She received a Masters Degree in Southeast Asian Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London in 2002.
