Jason Yat-sen Li, Chairman, Vantage Asia Holdings
Jason has over 20 years experience in law, corporate finance and general management in Australia, the US and China. He is currently Chairman of Vantage Asia Holdings, a commercial group with interests in resources, financial services and technology businesses in Asia.
Jason is a Director of the George Institute for Global Health and a member of the Sydney Committee of the Australian Chamber Orchestra. He was previously Vice Chair of the Australia-China Chamber of Commerce in Beijing and a Governing Member of the Smith Family. In 2009, Jason was named a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum in Davos, and currently serves on the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council for China. He is also Chairman of Refugee Talent, a technology company that connects highly skilled refugees in Australia with employment opportunities.
Jason was formerly Head of China Strategy for Insurance Australia Group and Head of Sales & Marketing for IAG’s China operations. His work on road safety in China won the China PR Association Silver Medal for Best Campaign and the Economic Observer Award for Most Creative Campaign in 2005. Jason has also worked for Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Sydney and the United Nations in the Hague, the Netherlands.
