Creating value from stakeholder engagement

Stakeholder engagement is critical to good CSR strategy. If done correctly, it allows companies to understand and respond to the expectations of people who could significantly impact the success of the business. Stakeholder feedback is also used to identify material issues that the company should manage and report on. But beyond mass surveys and one-off meetings, how can companies meaningfully engage stakeholders in a way that creates long term value? This session explores the evolution of stakeholder engagement from communication to co-creation, the value companies can get from getting it right, and lessons learnt when things did not go as planned.
