It is
reported here that the Thai government is preparing tax measures to encourage people to use more alternative energy to reduce oil consumption. It is reported that the new tax measure aims to encourage people to use more alternative energy in lieu of fuel oil and that the incentive is unlikely to be in the form of an excise tax reduction for diesel or any sort of subsidies.
